Parenting

Be the best parent you can be . . . with a little help from a friend. If you choose to parent your child, we can assist you in a number of ways. PSS will include the father of the baby for counseling if desired and appropriate. A caseworker can be reached on a 24-hour basis in an emergency. Temporary infant care is available in licensed, loving homes. Post-abortion counseling referrals is available. Assistance is provided in locating childbirth and parenting classes and many other resources.

A special incentive program called Fruits of Your Labor offers beautiful baby clothing and accessory items, sometimes baby furniture, and also personal women's gift items to motivated clients. This program challenges, encourages, and rewards positive behaviors and decisions of the birth mother during her days of waiting.

Adoption

Widen the circle of love for your child to include a waiting couple, family, or individual. If you choose to place your child for adoption, you'll be able to make important decisions about your child's future. You'll be able to select the right family for your child from personally designed profiles that include a variety of pictures, some information about the family, and written letters to the birth mother and father. You can meet with the prospective adoptive parent(s) who will honor the responsibility for your child's future. All adoptive families are committed to raising children in a loving Christian home. You can see some of our current families on our Parent Profiles page. Additional families can be seen at your local office.

Agency services tailored to your particular situation, including counseling and support, are available at no cost. ECFA social workers are caring, experienced, qualified, professional, confidential, and available for your local appointment.
