- Referrals for post-abortion support
- Short-term foster care
If you choose to parent your child, we can help you in a number of ways. Social workers assist in locating childbirth classes, housing opportunities, employment, schooling, and many other resources. A special incentive program (Fruits of Your Labor) offers baby clothing, blankets, diapers, feeding accessories, baby furniture, and personal items for mothers who participate in the program. PSS will include the father of the baby for counseling, if desired and appropriate. This program challenges, encourages, and rewards positive behaviors for parents.
If you choose to place your child for adoption, our PSS staff is available to assist you throughout the entire process. You will be able to select the family you feel is right for your child. Our PSS staff will provide you with the opportunity to look through profiles that include pictures, information about the family, and a written letter to you. You will have the chance to meet with the prospective adoptive couple and ask any questions you may have. All our adoptive families are committed to raising children in a loving Christian home. You can see some of our current families on our Parent Profiles page. Additional family profiles are available upon request.
