Dear Birth Parents,
Thank you for taking time to get to know us. We are praying for you and the decision you are facing. We know that you are making a great sacrifice out of love for your child. We can’t imagine what you are feeling at this moment. The fact that you have put your child’s needs as top priority is a very selfless act.
We would very much like to have another child in our family. We were blessed by a miracle with our son Aiden, but are not able to have any more biological children. Aiden would love to be a big brother and talks about all the things he wants to teach his new brother or sister. If given the opportunity to parent this child, we promise to raise him or her in a loving, Christ centered environment. We believe in empowering our children so they are ready to face the world when the time comes.
We love to be outside every chance we can! For fun, we take 3-4 camping trips a summer. Two of these trips are with our extended families. Getting away from all things modern and just being with each other is great! Other things we do in the summer are golf, disc golf, bike rides, hiking, watching Aiden’s baseball and soccer games, swimming at the aquatic center in our town, and trips to the ice cream store. During the winter months we pass the time with activities like bowling, indoor water parks, movies, board games, and puzzles.
We are active members of our church. We are part of a wonderful small group of families with young children. They have been praying for us and our future child for a while now. We help out in the nursery and Carrie is one of the leaders for the Women’s ministry and also sings on the praise team.
Aiden attends a private Christian school and loves it there. The class sizes are smaller and consist of about 20 kids each. We promise to continue teaching our children all about what Christ has done for us.
No matter what your decision will be, please know that you are covered in prayer not only by our family, but by the other waiting families and their family circles as well. We are trusting in God’s plan.
