Foster Care
ECFA's temporary foster care is available for newborns or children of birthparents at no cost. This is provided to accommodate the birthparents who have decided to place their child for adoption while they await a court date to voluntarily terminate their parental rights. Occasionally, respite care is offered for a brief period when there may be a medical, financial or emotional situation in which the foster care would be in the best interest of both the child and birth parent(s).
In 24 years, ECFA foster parents have provided more than 27,000 days of loving care to hundreds of infants and children who were placed in adoptive homes or returned to their birth parents.
Currently, there are four state licensed, loving families that serve the needs of newborns, toddlers, and children.
